Biography

Having being cut from the Chiefs in the final roster cuts of the year, he looked for somewhere else to play, and he ended up in Italy playing for the Bergamo Lions. He ended up helping lead the team to its tenth Super Bowl Italiano Championship and its ninth in a row. He had finished the season with 112 Receptions for 1,912 Receiving Yards and 21 Touchdowns. During the Italian season he signed a deal with the Toronto Argonauts that would begin once the Italian season ended.

On January 26, 2007, McIntyre signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League, but later left due to contract disputes, as he was of the feeling that since he won the number one wide receiver job, he should not be one of the lowest paid players on the team.
